Does anyone have any experience with this model and the previous version? I've got the older version of this one and navigating through the menus (as well as starting Hulu) is awfully sluggish. Also, even with an ethernet connection to my router, Hulu freezes fairly often. I can't say I've overly pleased...
I have the older and newer (this) version. The newer has a much better UI. Still not XBMC easy, but much better. My 10 yr. old can use both easily though.
The remote control on this version is normal size, thus better too.
The GUI is much faster and network streaming is the best I have seen. I sold my Asus Nettop Windows media player because the WDTV Live was so much better.
SORRY DIDNT REALIZE THIS WAS NEWER WDTV. BRAD DOES NOT WORK ON THIS MODEL.
Best player for this price because it has latest sigma 8655 chip which is very powerful. Its remote apps for IPAD is also very good. I also have HIMEDIA 900B player with latest Realtek chip and I compaired both on my 3d LED tv and there is no difference. I paid $200 for Himedia 900B.

I am sure this works fine BUT Roku is "open" so people can write there own channels or get some from others. With that said I have a Roku.

I haven't used Hulu, but Netflix is nice.
The official firmware blows for this.
