I talked to Western Digital over the weekend due to lots of issues I had with a recent order of this drive (5 drives). 2 were DOA and one died an hour after use. There are lots of complaints coming in regarding Newegg's terrible packing in the shipping box. Mine had a single piece of bubble wrap shielding the drives from impact and nothing else (except the antistatic bag). Not sure who at Newegg made this genius cost cutting measure, but it will be affecting sales! I won't order anything from them again.
