I did, but after a few weeks of reading reviews and all the PH complaints, I went with the HDX.
One major reason is case design, the HDX uses an all aluminum case, not cheap plastic, with no noisy fan and a brilliant but simple design that uses the case as a heat sink for the processor. The aluminum case also quiets HDD noise and needs no openings for dust to get in and noise to get out. The player is cool ans is very quiet. They are virtually the same player with the same chipset, but HDX has designed theirs better.
Read reviews for both and then tell me why buy a PH? There are many PH complaints, there aren't very many HDX complaints.
I debated on buying one of these but decided to go with the HDX1000 instead. With everything I've read about thsese I'm sure I made the right choice.
Why wouldn't you look at The Popcorn Hour?
