      this things blows cause you need a hard drive for it to work, it itself has no memory in it

      Aren't there similar devices that will hold hard drive in them? That I think would be better as you will have just one box to deal with.

      Yah. That's how the Popcorn Hour works. It has a space for a SATA drive, but also has a USB interface and an ethernet port. So you can use it any way you choose.

      I agree, if this doesn't have network capability then it's a no-deal. Networked media tanks are the way to go...for me anyway.

      Had this unit about a year ago. Didn't play few of my MKV's for some reason. I wanted a NIC as well to stream from my NAS so switched for a more expensive EGreat M34a and that works like a charm. Bought that off Amazon, no complaints so far.

      I was excited until I realized this wasn't the newest LIVE version. Question is the LIVE version $45 better?
