eCost, Westinghose, refurb, can't go wrong here. All this needs is a rebate to be complete.

If it were a 52" 120 Hz Bravia and a Blu-Ray player at this price, I'd bite.

You might as well burn your money, it's a better idea then buying this crap.

Has Westinghouse ever made a TV that didn't get refurbished?

Heh. I've got 2 Westinghouse LCD HDTVs and have not had a single problem with either.

Stick a fork in your eye instead, it costs less.

I bought a referb Westinghouse TV in July of 2008, 30 days later it was dead (backlight). Sent it in for repairs, they still have it...had to charge back from my credit card to get my resolution. I like Amex better now, but can't find a good reason to like Westinghouse.

I got this same set refurbed from eCost last year. The set is still going strong. No dead pixels or lines. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones? The picture quality is great! Anti-reflective screen, so great for daytime viewing and great viewing angles. Won't get the oos and aahs from your friends like a Samsung or Sony would, but it's a pretty damn good TV if you're on a budget.
