I got the 37" 1080p version of this thing over a year ago
worked great while it worked...
just 3 weeks after manufacture's warranty expired, the backlight inverter gave out. Fortunately, I got mine through Costco, so their extended 2 year warranty is covering it.
probably will get Samsung next time
Costco has the TX-42F240 for $699.99 with Costco warranty... it's also 1080p
