Ends at 9PM PT. 1SaleADay has the Westinghouse NB0117/5 Rechargeable Battery Set with Fast Charger and 4 x AA and 4 x AAA batteries for $10 + $5 shipping = $15 shipped.
Beware of chinese junk who just bought the name of american companies to slap on their junks. Price almost like Eneloop wo the charger so go with proven superior Eneloop and be much happier.
There was only one review last week and it was disastrous. What kind of nimh last only a couple charges?
The lack of information provided by this seller makes this a questionable buy. While the picture shows these as 2000 mah for the AA size and 850 for the AAA size, this should be stated in the description. It does not say they are low self discharge (LSD) either. Buying rechargeable that are not the newer LSD is not a good idea unless you are using them in a high drain device where they are recharged often, like a camera flash. Batteries listed as ready to use or precharged are usually the newer LSD type also. I could find no information on the output of the charger, so this so called fast charger may take many hours to complete a charge.
Westing house has joined other corporations that sold their brand to chinese like Polaroid and soon Kodak.
#2 that what they hope for but its more likely they hope you dont RUN away from their products when you see american brand. Just for comparison 1) made in America 2) made in China See, there just no contest.
The following charger looks identical, so "IF" the specs for it are correct I'd assume they apply to this one as well. Looks like a *dumb* trickle charger that takes approx 16-18 hours to charge a fully drained cell, and charges the AAA/AA in pairs of 2 or 4.
