OLED TV's are coming; they blow LED out of the water!

That is why there are such good deals on LED's; they are dumping stock to make room for the next gen TV's.

Might want to consider waiting if a TV with a 10X better picture for a couple hundred bucks more sounds like something you'd be interested in.

^ but which model of 46" OLED TV do you expect to cost anywhere near $500, let alone $380? Probably all of them, eventually, but at that point a TV you buy today may have worn out already.

I've learned that lesson well... there is *always* something better coming, so I get what I want/need and stop worrying about the very latest (or the very best deal). I keep things as long as they work for me, and sleep better, too...

It will be two years or more before a 46" OLED set is under $1,000... meanwhile, a $500 LED TV will provide 95% of the viewing satisfaction.

The way I see it is most people now have an lcd or a plasma in their house. Now people are starting to get led's with the larger variety and availability of them along with the lowered prices. So purchasing an led tv now would be a good decision for the next couple years. I don't see oled TV's being in this price range with a good name brand until 2015.
