cannot answer for the lcd, but have had a westinghouse tube tv as other tv for 6 years and that bastard is still going strong.

I have this in my store. its on seven days a week. I paid $579 for it around 1yr ago. not a single prob with it.

I have this TV only with a built in DVD. Has worked flawlessly with great Picture paid $559 a year ago.
Refurb no deal
i bought a refurb westinghouse a little over a year ago. it was great until last week, when a whole row of pixels died. dammit.
Don't do it - I had this TV - tuner problems - other problems - stinks...
Had this for almost a year now, Looks good for small room, no probs.
WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM eCOST.COM! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. I recently purchased a camera that I tried to return the next day, they told me after the fact that the sale is final even though their policy did not state during check out. BEWARE. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS!
