90 day warranty on a westinghouse refurb. Its basically a guarantee this will not last even a full year.

I'm in the middle of trying to repair a 47" Westinghouse that went out within 18mth of purchase.. NEW. I have no picture, but sound. I've replaces the inverters already, now trying the power supply. I have read that it's a common issue with Westinghouse LCDs.. I'd stay away from Westinghouse.. let alone eCost.

Do not buy electronics item from this seller. Anyway this lcd tv is no deal since it's refurb, short warranty and the name Westinghouse can speak for itself about quality, reliable.

I agree that Ben makes money from people buying here (no harm in that), and I agree that ecost has a horrible reputation for some deals (caveat emptor as always) - but in Westy's defense - I've got a 42" plasma monitor (no tuner) from them that was $400 with a Ben's deal about 3 years ago and it's still going strong (knock on wood).
