I saw this at costco for 75 if you're a member.
man the wii fit, my dad bought it and just used it once rofl, it is pretty difficult tho some of the things, i was trying the push ups, man those were tough ahaha
We don't use it NEARLY as much as I thought we would. The novelty wears off quickly IMO.
LMAO #14.
#5 shaun white snowboarding uses the board as well. i never tried it though. Is the balance board really worth it?
Costco B&M's has it for 76$
I've had my fit and balance board for a month. I've used it 2-3 times per week (5 times in first week). I also ran 3.5 - 5 miles, 2 - 3 times per week and surfed both days last weekend.
I think the overall core workout is great. Better than the gym because you get instant feedback on your balance. I think this makes you work harder to improve your balance. I'm sure there is some gym equipment that does that, but not at this price.
You need to do the yoga and the strength training. It can get you sweating nicely. The aerobic stuff is okay, but I run, so I don't do those much.
The balance games are fun and difficult. They demand perfection to get really good scores... perfection is next to impossible, so you are always working to get better. And you can because you are able to get instant feedback through scores/times/reps and work on improvement.
I am waiting to get a game that relies on the board... that's next.
If that didn't sell you.... it's also a scale and a body mass calculator...
This isn't a big price drop. Wii board is fun for a bit. There are not enough games to worth the wild owning a Wii board. I have one and rarely used it.
No need to leave the computer and go exercise to break a sweat. You can break a sweat just by swiveling a little in your computer chair.
