for $8 it's definitely worth it. Yes, 6 out of the 9 games totally suck, but the mini tank game is worth it by itself. The Duck-Hunt style game is fun as well, as is billiards.
Actually being able to buy a second remote is worth the $8. The game isn't too bad, givin the choice of this game, a movie ticket, or a dvd, I would chose this game.
Bet you Nintendo will have a DVD capable Wii by the all important back to school shopping season...
