Walmart.com has the Wii Play with Wii Remote for Nintendo Wii priced at $52 shipped. This game comes with the currently hard-to-find Wii Remote, so you are effectively paying $40 for the Wii Remote and $10 for the game. [BizRate]
Worth it if you can't find a remote the other way. The games, not really worth the extra $10 if you ask me.
Yeah, Wii Play is more like a demo disk for the Wii. Don't expect it to be another Wii Sports. It isn't. Not even close. In my mind, $50 for this is a rip-off.
If you put just the Wii Play game on ebay, i got around $30ish... so in fact it was like a $20 Wii Remote.
pretty smart smidget =) but i think i'll keep it. my girlfriend actually likes the game, i think if i let her play every now and then, she won't mind me playing so much, hehe. so if you have girlfriends that don't usually play video games, make them play this one, they might like it.
This remote is usable on a PC, right? I've seen some vids... people playing HL2 using it I believe...

Yes, go to http://www.wiili.org and look for the GlovePIE drivers.
#5, yes, but it looks sluggish/laggy. There is no way it is better than kb and mouse. But it is just a good proof of concept.
I would say play is worth $10, it certainly provided me and my girlfriend with more enjoyment than a typical trip to the movie threatr would have. Plus, good luck finding the remote without the game.
wii bit o blarney!
We have this and think it's great. We've spent a great deal of family time all playing this together, as my 3 year old, 4 year old, and 11 year old can all play the games with mom and dad. It's worth the $$$, especially if you have younger children! They love the fishing, the cow race (my 4 year old rocks at it), the matching is educational for my 3 year old, and the adults like playing each other with the ping pong and pool. Great family purchase for us.
