These things aren't that good, conditions have to be perfect for them to work.
I bought the Mohu Leaf version and its given me great reception so far.
Not so lucky with mine. when the tree outside my house blows the reception diminishes and so with heavy clouds..
Take an aluminum pie tin and put it behind this antenna. Try moving it back an inch at a time to find where it reflects the most signal.
Actually I was amazingly surprised at how well this worked at a location about 30 miles from known HDTV station antenna's. Got it as a back up 'cause the Uverse occaisionally goes out and wanted to be able to watch local channels if it did. Picked up local every channel but was a bit picky about placement. I can live with that if it is only for emergency purposes. Got mine at Costco and paid more so this is a good price too.
Any one know whic is better? This one or the one sold by Monoprice?
