    i would buy it if i had a place to mount. using home-made bow tie coat hanger antenna and it's the best

    not the better design for an HD ant.get the ones that look like a piece of bird cage on a stick.

    Believe it or not, network HD signal over the air will ALWAYS look better than HD from cable or satellite.

    #6 is right - cable and sat are trying to squeeze as many channels as they can onto limited bandwidth.

    Looking at this because you want good reception for almost free? Try uhfhdtvantenna bacon com for a how-to.

    I have Fios and a Large 8 foot antenna in my attic. The antenna was just left up there when I moved in. I watch all my PBS, Fox, CBS and NBC on the Antenna and SciFi and USA on fios... now i'm thinking on getting rid of Fios tv.

    #10 - the rodeo cowboy over at uhfhdtvantenna are so cheap they don't even have insulation in the attic.
