Great, you took away the only tether. Get ready for some more home damage caused by flying wii controllers. heh.

Is the cord to the nunchuck really that much of a problem? Seems like they are solving a non-existent issue.

I can understand wireless Wii remotes, but why this? Why have batteries all over the place?

Agreed with number 5. Seems like a waste of batteries.

My armspan isn't nearly 18ft, but I cant tell you how many times the wires have been twisted, or hit me in the face while playing sonic olympics.

First off they should have been wireless to begin with, secondly; why are they making accessories that only fit the wiimotes without the skins Nintendo is shipping with the units and you get for free?

I have hit myself in the face before reeling fish in playing Rapala. I think I can take a couple of hits to the chin before I spend $28.
    *cheap*

Do any household appliances (cordless phones, etc...) interfere with the connection to the Wiimote?

#8... if the nunchuk was wireless to begin with, then what is the point of calling it a nunchuk???

Besides, the wired nunchuk makes a great household weapon, especially during the holidays with you families bring kids over to play the Wii, you can take them out with one wack.
