I got this for $3 or was it $2 SHIPPED a while back??? I use it for my classroom and I have it hooked up to a 3v DC power source. The LEDs are tad small and set inside the plastic a bit too far so the angle is not as great except for maybe 30 degrees in front of bar.

These batteries are running LEDs. They last so long, it isn't even a big deal when you forget to turn it off.

Nintendo alluded to not honoring the Wii warranty if a wireless sensor bar is used---probably because they don't make and sell one. I found no benefit to using a wireless sensor bar---plus, the batteries are a pain to change and battery life really isn't very long.

#10 Just how would they be able to tell that you used a wireless sensor bar?

Called a sensor bar, really an emitter bar... those Japanese are so deceitful!
