ships from overseas, but seems to be real. All english packaging (call of duty: MW 2). It's been working for 2 weeks for me.

Does it have the proper partitioning to play old XBox games #6? If it doesn't then it's a fake...even if it does that's not a guarantee, but at least they took the effort to do it right.

I received mine from an earlier deal post. The HD is a refurbished, Magnetic Data Technologies drive. The unit came in a cardboard box that "looked" official, but said something like "Game system for harddrive". I e-mailed Shop4Tech about the drive and their response was "it is a non OEM product". I will not be installing this drive on my XBOX.
