    my 2c, if you buy this and the 120 gb hd your still cheaper than the elite, as long as you dont care about back xbox or the cables that come with the elite. Im going to be wanting a 120 soon myself, as soon as the new dashboard comes out and you can run games from the HDD. IMO 20 GB that comes with the premium (old version that everyone has) just doesn't cut it.

    #3 I don't understand why you need a HD. I have a laptop and a desktop with HD's. Why dose the Xbox 360 Arcade need a HD to play purchased games.

    #7, I believe that u need the drive for all xbox LIVE games cuz of the constant updates. If you dont use live then you prolly dont need the HD. not 100% on that so don't quote me....

    how big is the hard drive? can't imagine you'd need much storage for a gaming system.
