Yeah, so these are going to be $199 after a couple weeks. You'll be able to get a 60GB version then for $299. A 20GB hard drive is ~$100 now. I wouldn't spring for this unless you just can't wait.

Also keep in mind that with an arcade, you won't be able to download demos and possibly may have some issues with the upcoming patch that will start preloading games onto your harddrive. Although that might be optional.

The preloading is optional #3 which is good, they don't force you to buy biggger and bigger hd's, uhm if you can't wait sure, but i'd wait, or at least wait for the dell elite deal to show up again, worth every penny, including that hdmi cable! [jk on the cable]

20GB HD for $100 is such a rip. M$ thinks they can charge Windows OS prices for hardware now

360 is the bomb, it has the games, but i still don't understand why ms isn't selling the hd's at a loss, the only way to counter blue ray is to have huge hd's plus they could sell you bigger games and content via the internet. even in the worst situation you buy a game with 3 discs, 2 install on the hd and 1 play disc. i just don't get it.

360 HDs will drop in price when they release the stand alone 60 gig. They talked about this at E3.

if you buy an hdd the warranty is only 90 days I believe, complete crap.
