Does anybody know if the RROD is still an issue with the models coming out now?

Damn...i paid $350 for it and it don't come with any games.
The new "Jasper" models should completely remove the rrod risk. However, I think those are only on the cheaper Arcade units for now. Anandtech has a guide on how to tell if your unit is a Jasper

I'm hearing the Jasper models still have some issue with the RROD, but not as high as 33% anymore as in the older 360 models. But it's closer to 10% now..... I guess 1 in 10 isn't as bad as 3 in 10..... Still kinda of high failure rate for a $200-300 hardware.... Face it.... MS doesn't know the first thing about hardware as it's a software company at heart.
Plus tax - Does Dell always charge tax?

Dell charges tax in any state where they have a warehouse or shipping center. If there isn't one, then they don't. Unfortunately, my state they do charge tax. Good deal regardless though.

Ordered one, got it the box had been opened previously. The manufacture date was 7-27-08. I called Dell they said they would ship out another. I can only guess what was up with that.

Just eBay the two games (say for $10 a piece) and you get an Elite for the price of a Pro. That's pretty good.
