#1: burp Blu-Ray. It's a dead technology. It's never going to catch on and that is why you will never see Blu-Ray players for less than $100.

Somewhere in a remote country (that is not found on any known map) there is a small secluded state of the art laboratory full of highly intelligent winged research chimps being paid by Microsoft to design a new and better alternative to blue ray. When will this new and improved alternative be released? Only Steve Ballmer and his legion of winged research chimps know. But this we know; it will be cheaper and more superior than Blue Ray.

This is a good deal for Netflix people; on November 19 (rumored) Xbox will update, to be able to, stream movies.

Hahah I can remember Turdsucks saying that blu-ray would die and HD-DVD would win. Then when HD-DVD died she changed her tune to blu-ray never catching on and never being under $200-$300. Now she's downgraded that AGAIN to just "under $100".

And FYI Turdsucks - Blu-ray already HAS "caught on". Get with the program.

MS will never adopt BR. The new Xbox360 dashboard update will come out on 11/19 with Netflix support. Smile

Have to say, will never buy another non-OS thing from Microsoft... spent weeks finding the updated 360 Elite with the Falcon chip etc. some time back. Found it, got it, and just my luck the Cd drive wouldn't read any disks. Went through the process on the phone with them (mostly overseas people) and got a replacement ... but was sent the standard 360 Elite, not the upgraded one with a Falcon chip. I raised a fit, and to cut it short ... in the end, STILL no valid replacement for the one with the Falcon chip. After 3 shipments (leterally) of different ones, all promised to be THE ONE to resolve things, all the same. The last indian guy, excuse me "customer service supervisor", said "our policy is to replace the units with a working similar one. The is no guarantee on the model #/type." And he sent me a different power cord so the older Elite that they sent me the last go round would work!

SO pissed. But after 6+ months, I literally gave up and have made my initial promise/statement ... no more! Razz
