Uh.. go do some reasearch. Microsoft themselves says ~40%. Most people thing it's higher.

Mine just RROD'ed 2 weeks ago ... every friend I know that has one has RROD'ed.

BTW, this is cheaper via buy.com/live.com 30% cashback via ebay Smile

Oh and don't give me that not enough ventilation thing, I don't use it much and it's not in an enclosed area.

I've honestly never personaly met anyone that has had a rrod problem. I've had mine for over a year and I leave it on over the weekend all weekend. Same thing with most of the people I know. I'm not say the problem doesn't exist, but >50%? Come on. I still haven't seen Microsoft say ~40%.

By all means...if you like Sony and all their Rootkit Malware DRM ways then get a PS3.

Ok, did a little research. I hav eto say agian, you are wrong. Seems like the % is more around 16%. It's over a 6 to 10 month time table, but I doubt it will go up 34% more. If the rrod problem was ~50% I don't think the 360 would still be selling like it is.

#5, your statement doesn't make sense. MS and Sony both lose money on the consoles which they expect to make up with software sales. So by having people buy multiple 360s they would lose more money.

Its a great deal unless ya live where they add sales tax...then its cut in half on the savings.

I've had RROD twice - I'm considering PS3, but will wait for more titles and price drop. Also admin I play a lot of Wii... The Force Unleashed is big fun!

The PS 3 does not have better graphics Fallout 3 on PS3 got lower marks than 360 b/c the graphics had to be turned down on the ps3. amazing how people are misinformed. Sony fans are almost as disillusioned as apple fans.

I don't think these are the new jasper revision of the 360 that use the new 65nm chip. I'd wait for those instead as the Jasper redesign produces less heat

Hmm, #17, lets see...for NO additional charge you can stream as many 720p movies as you want per month...PS3 is good, but only for a Blu Ray player at the moment...
yeah, love that BS 50% failure line, give it a rest dude...
