Wow. I've seen PS3's for the same price... but oh wait, this doesn't have a blu-ray player O They're also trying to get the look of a ps3 with the black finish.

SO much fan Boi crap...This is pretty much the Average deal on this 360 model. If you are in the market, its OK (games are a bit crap, and can get um both on Flea Bay for about $13 shipped atm). I wont get into which console is better, thats an opinion thing. But as an owner of both... if you buy used games (flea bay) 360 games sell for about $10 less then the exact same PS3 game. That influnces me far more then all the e-pen-is boys and there "mine is better then yours" talk. OH, HALO is a pretty avg FPS game, if you got a PC you would know there are many better ones! 2 weapons... wow, thats inovation, lets limit the player instead of giving him options!

#6 I agree, I never understood the whole deal with Halo. Since I'm not 13 any more I'd much rather play a FPS with real guns than one with zapper guns, lasers, and aliens.

Also, yes XBOX games are cheaper, but they sell for cheaper too. Since I usually buy games and resell them, it comes out about the same either way. I just wouldn't get an XBOX because of the high failure rate.

I have to admit currently that I'm very satisfied with the Netflix service on XBOX 360 while PS3 is currently lacking.

I think XBOX 360 and PS3 are very similar to each other now.
After the recent firmware upgrades, PS3 has finally become a better value console among Xbox 360 and Wii. With the same price, you get WiFi, Blu-Ray, easy-to-upgrade SATA Hard disk and ability to backup your music, video and photos the hardrive, external USB massive storage device, and and play it on your HDTVs. You can also export all game saves that are without copy protections to any memory cards or USB massive storage device and share it with your friends. I would say, go for PS3 now unless most of your friends have XBOX 360.

In order for Xbox 360 to be equivalent to PS3's hardware specs, you need to buy wireless wifi adaptor, rechargeable battery and charging cable, xbox live (though still way better service than PS Network for $3/month), cannot easily and economically upgrade your HDD. The end cost to get the same specs as PS3 is more expensive for XBOX 360. But I'm sure you can always get bargains.

If you are afraid of high failure rate, no worry, because M$ gives you one month of Xbox live FREE and able to fix the Red Ring of Death or the E11 error for FREE within 3 years since purchase.

There is also rumored that SONY is releasing a budget PS3 with Matte black finish.

The pictures are only showing the TOP COVER of the PS3, so we still don't know how the final new PS3 look at, but we are sure that the price is going to be cheaper and highly competitive.
