Great Deal to me... I bought live before for $50, the chatpad for $20, and no game... this includes the 12 month live, chatpad, wired headset that works with said chatpad, a game, plus 2 tickets to see Watchmen... damn good deal.

Well..well, even Microsoft is feeling the economic crisis.

I just bought one. It looks like a good deal to me. I get a game to play, a chat pad so I don't need to use my controller for typing, and I can take my brother to the movies.
I suspect that this won't last long.
I needed to get some xbox live points for the GTA IV Expansion (only needed 400 more) so I grabbed the 1600 point card and added the watchmen movie passes, then I noticed that it shipped for free (didn't need to pick up in store). Its a good deal considering it would have cost me and my girlfriend ~$13 to see watchmen (planned on seeing it anyways) and that means I got 1600 xbox live points for the cost of 500
For those of us out in So Cal, movies are at least $10 a pop so this essentially gets you some free xbox live points if you planned on going to see Watchmen. Good deal!
Add in your netflix account and you can get some movies via the 360 as well.
Has anyone done this? I'm just making sure that I'm not going to be entertained to realmedia quality videos.

This is a good deal. You'll pay at least this much for a year of XBL anyway (possibly much more if you pay month-month...). The chat pad, which I thought was going to be lame, is actually pretty nice and makes messaging much easier and faster. The headset is unremarkable. PGR4 is ok; not stellar but a nice way to sweeten the deal.
#7 it depends on your bandwidth. If you have the bandwidth to support it, it looks ok. At lower bandwidth settings the picture quality drops significantly. I have 2+Mb dowload and my picture quality is usually negotiated to 7 (out of
bars.
Ordered, awesome deal for what you get... on netflix, I run my xbox with a wireless connection (I know, I know, it sucks because my switch is across the house from the xbox) and it works pretty well. At worst my room mate is downloading porn or something and the connect lags and it lowers the quality a hair. If you run this hard wired with a cable modem or higher it's like cheap hbo =p.
Totally worth it, my live sub. is almost up so this is perfect, and you get PGR4, + messenger pad for like $20 more! Now that's a deal, I like #3's comment lol
