i don't get these one sided gaming headsets..
as a fps gamer for the PC, i need sound from both sides to play well..
with hearing from one side.. i might as well play with speakers on and a stand alone mic/ or a broken headset with only one side working
#1 - the headset is for team speak, regular game sounds still come out of the television (or receiver speakers) as normal.
wtf.. these are huge
looks like EA wanted to get the NFL gamer market and since they don't sell someone picks up the extra stock.
is there a PC version for this?
Just buy a Turtle Beach headset....these suck.
Unless all you want to do is chat...then its perfect.
But I want game sounds out of my headphones!
from the pics, it looks like an xbox 360 only adapter, meaning it has the 3 prongs. can anybody confirm this.
i have the plantronics...it has only 1 prong and you can use it w/ your house phone too.
i think they were meant to make you feel like those coaches that wear the huge headsets while walking the sidelines.
You can't game in mono: There's no positional information. How do you tell if something is to the right or left of you if there is only sound in one ear?
Gamer's should avoid this one.
#6 is right. Get a Turtle Beach. You can also use it to watch TV w/o bothering anyone else. The extra $$ is worth it.
I think everyone should reread #2's comment.
Has anyone tried this? How much better can this possibly be than the standard MS headset that comes with your Xbox? I could care less if I look like Bill Cower while playing Madden.
I have the Turtle Beach headset, I love it, any thing else would be a let down now, they are worth the money.
Ditto #10.
