Have they sorted out the problems with these yet? I was reading the reviews on Amazon and they didn't sound very good. People were going though several of these and even though it was covered by the warranty it was still taking MS 4-6 weeks or longer to return the console.

    Non-HDMI version???

What next-gen consoles have no HDMI?

Oh wait, Wii and XBox360 seem to fit that bill...

    Nevermind

#4, looks like your yet another happy microsoft customer.

maybe you shoulda bought a ps3, then u could take out that anger on a nice multiplayer game of call of duty 4. instead you have to wait 4-6 week to get your box back and then wait until they get their servers fixed so u can actually join in a game. thats sounds like alot of fun.

just scrap that junk, cut your losses and buy a ps3.

to be honest, it's best to stay away from 360 refurbs. Since MS had such a massive RROD problem with their original 360, I'd just shell out another 100 and get the better version. Although, I hear that they are still having problems with their newer versions also.
But to be a real "next gen." console, the PS3 may be your better bet with Blu-ray/HDMI/wireless and not to mention that Sony may have better games lined up for 2008 compared to MS. 2007 was MS's flagship year, but 2008 may be Sony's to lose.

Wii rocks, superior graphics isn't always king. What good is a great looking game that is too complex to play?
