There may be $100 rebates from others but who likes rebates? I went ahead & bought with 2 games & extra accessories also 15% off (most places don't have acc on sale to make more profit). Shipping was free too
Ooh, good deal. I got 2 friends looking to pick up 360s after they sold some PS3s on eBay. They went to local GameStop to look at used and refurb 360s and those crazy burp were charging $380 for a used Premium. GameStop are the biggest rip-off artists out there.
ha 380 for used? how do they figure a years worth of wear and tear only constitutes a 20$ hit..crazy
I agree with #4, Gamestop sells new games for $49.99 and the used version for $44.99 - meanwhile, when you try to trade in that same game, they offer you $8 in "store credit". I have never, and will never buy a used (or new) game from Gamestop.
For anyone in the NYC area, you can get the same games in Chinatown (or Flushing if in bacon area) for less than retail with no tax. Used games (even of new releases) are usually around $30 too - much better than the $45 + tax charged by Gamestop.

not to threadjack but I saw the PS3 this weekend and the graphics was simply AMAZING! There were also ZERO latency in gameplay. It was real time movements.
Not sure if it's worth $600 BUT there are no systems out there currently that even comes close period!
No I don't work for Sony and don't think that highly of them. Just sayin is all.

I bought this out there for $20 more a month ago for my son for Christmas. I had to add on another controller and some extra re-chargeable batteries and a charger. A Gotham 3 racing game too for starters. Came to around $500.
Then my son didn't even put Xbox 360 on his letter to Santa.
That hurt.
Maybe you should just get him the Barbie dolls he asked for...
