I ordered one of these last week with Gears of War, it came to $417 after taxes however, it doesn't ship until 12/8, other then that its a good deal.
Not as good as Amazons earlier deal, but not too bad.
I hate that Dell now charges tax. This would be a very good deal if I didn't have to pay tax on it.
Consoles are really starting to annoy me. Sure they are "cool and totally awesome!" but their prices also get higher...Just because it's "new technology" doesn't mean it isn't cheap, or cheaper, to manufacture. With that being said I've also noticed that every time a new console is released the cost of a new release title generally increases by $10 or so. Not only with those new additional costs, you also have to shell out loads of money for subscriptions to their online services..bacon's beginning to become a rip off. Though I like playing games, even console games (i really want a 360..)...I'll stick with PC gaming. It's more economical and just as entertaining.
its called supply and demand..combined with inflation..sure we paid less for a lot of older systems...but the dollar was worth, and could buy you, a lot more...and actually..im happy to pay 50 bucks for a whole year of xbox live...bacon really takes console gaming to another level...if i didnt have a 360 i would be all over this deal!
It's a good deal. I got mine Dec. 10, 2005 for $360 at Target which was a good deal at the time. I used the $40 I saved to get Call of Duty 2 at the time.
Yeah, nothing is as good as the Amazon deal, but at least with this deal you can get one.

I just did it and it is back to $400. I was going to combine it with my paypal -$20 discount and get it for $320 but they seem to have changed it.
Microcenter still has it instore with a $100 mail in rebate but rebates suck.

So the discount wasn't applied in the checkout? I believe you have to proceed to checkout to get the deal. If I'm wrong please correct me...
I tried checking out as a guest, and it took me up to the point where I'd give my CC info - $400. Doesn't look good.
This looks like a pretty good deal. I tried to get one of the deals at Amazon, but never could get through.
as of now..8pm still works comes 340...i wonda if i should get one.....sigh...
