Terrible deal. When the new version of the 360 comes out this thing will be selling for $260.
nice...
o and why the hell do they have a ps3 for $675 on their site?
WTF are you talking about, #1?
#3 Microsoft will be realeasing an "updated" version of the xbox360 with hdmi 1.3 and blah. Not a faster system, just a few things they needed and didn't have already.
Maybe you will trust engadget. "http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/05/the-second-bacon-revealed-codename-zephyr"
I dont know how to unbacon my link. Just search on the website.
It's been seven months since the rumor of the hdmi 1.3 version of the 360. Any updated rumors of a release date?
#4, Do you know when they will release the updated version with hdmi output? I read some articles with images, but Microsoft is claiming that only a hardware testing and not planning to release an updated version anytime soon.
i guess #1 is always right. i can also say when the ps4 comes out, ps3 will be selling for $200. or when wii2 comes out, wii will be selliing for $150.
but the BIG QUESTION is when???
Zephyr is slated to be released Q3 2007. If you want more info, check out:

$368 no tax saves you almost $50 bucks compared to running in your local gamestop. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I pair all my HD tv's with an Xbox 360 for picture viewing , music from the tv.... even if your not a big time gamer for what it does for your hd set its pretty good deal. Then pair it with the hd-dvd and your golden then on top of that it plays games. Its really the ultimate HD tv add on.
Oink.
MS needs to do something to cover people trying to buy the original 360; I'm sure a lot of people (myself included) are hesitant to buy one, because a new hardware revision 'seems' to be imminent looking at these HW sites and the 'official' denials of a new version is as reliable as the photo cropups of the new 360's. If they're willing to bleed a little and offer subsities of some sort (clearance out existing 360s, free-exchange offers if/when a new version arrives), I think they could win a lot of these people over.
Yeah, #12 is right. They should take it in the shorts for those who always hesitate to buy anything because the next thing is right around the corner, and offer free upgrades.
I mean, it's not like the hardware is a loss leader for game sales and they eat about $250 for every 360 sold.
Oh, wait. It's exactly like that.
My local Sam's has a 360 pack for $350 +tax. Includes the 360, headset, and two wireless controllers.
