I see all these refurbs and I'm glad I have a PS3, oh and it has Blu-ray! My friend has an Xbox 360, it runs well with the add-on cooler the size of a shoebox. great design!

#1 this is a finely crafted American product. Red is the color of old glory. You should be proud when the ring is red. Now stop being a whiney phag and salute the ring every time it turns red. And stay out of Texas.

xbox 36s0 are so greatly prone to break downs it is highly risky to invest your money in something that doesn't come with the standard MS warranty (which extends to three years for RROD and e74)

ha someone thinks that the PS3 is better than the 360!!
A working PS3 is the equivalent of a 360 with the brake light on.

ps3 owners ONLY comment is "and it has Blu-ray!" what comes before the and .... nothing. I can buy a 360 and a blu-ray player for close to the price of a ps3 then i would have a blu-ray player " AND a gaming system with several good quality games " Laughing

Sony shot themselves in the foot because they wanted to win the Blu-Ray format and the video game system war. Instead they won one and lost the other. I think if they weren't so much into wining the format war, their system would have been as competitive as the Xbox 360. There is no way I would spend $400-500 on a gaming system. Decent PC video cards can be had for $100.

Sony is doing fine. In fact Sony's gaming division was the only profitable division this last quarter. Sony winning the format war is important because movie studios need to bring in more revenue through media sales(basically they want you to repurchase your dvd library), plus if you EVER saw the Dark Knight in Blu-ray you'll be convinced that your purchase is worth every bacon double bacon burger.

#13 - PS3 has a lot more going for it than a Blu-Ray player - it doesn't break all the time, online multiplayer is free, it has a more powerful processor... and all that for basically the same total price for a comparable 360 setup. I still can't figure out how Bill Gates suckered anyone into buying his crappy system to be honest with you.

Sony may not have won the format wars. They beat HD-DVD but the Chinese have developed their own format CBHD, and American movie studios are supporting it.
