Who buys all this refurbished stuff? 30 day warranty on a $150 item. Gee what a deal!
In reality, if a piece of modern electronics works for 30 days, it's likely to keep working well beyond the new-equipment warranty period as well. It's the early-fail issues that you have to worry about.
Where does it say 30 day warranty?
#2, I see your reality and raise you xbox360.

#4 trumps # 2
I'd take a refurbished xbox if i needed one. they all break anyway.
#3 Under the Return Policies tab
This item is covered by Newegg.com's Limited Replacement Only Return Policy.
Return for refund within: non-refundable
Return for replacement within: 30 days
I bought one of first 360 that were sold and mine is still going strong. $150 is a bit to invest on a refurbished if it has only a 30 day warranty. #2 where did you find the 30 day warranty statement? I guess you are thinking about the Newegg policy
* Return for refund within: 30 days
* Return for replacement within: 30 days
* Restocking Fee: Yes
I have bought several refurb 360s for friends.
1 out of 8 got the RROD.
I think those odds are just as good as buying a new one if not better.
Refurbs are fine people...
360s die easy enough on their own when you got a new one, don't risk it with a refurb.
Yah, refurbs, how about no.
not bad - even for a refurb
Does this have HDMI? It looks like there is a port on the back. Anybody know?
#13 - The cable pack says no. The plugs you see are power, USB, AV, and network.
ppl always get scared of refurb but they really aren't as bad as what most ppl think of them.
Bought 3 refurbs including 1 elite and they all work great.
Warranty is probably 90 days. Your credit card may give you an extended warranty. You can probably buy an additional warranty online.
Hey. It's a crap shoot on new and refurbs.
The xbox 360 refurbs in most cases have had the issue that was causing the RROD fixed. They have beefed up the heatsinks inside the units as part of the refurbishing process, I doubt you'd have problems with one of these over any other xbox.
Scary purchase.
Thanks #13. I want one with HDMI.
