Today only. Home Depot has the XEPA Solar Outdoor LED Light (XP645D) with Motion Detection for $40 with free shipping. Features 14 hours of illumination on a full charge, and 15-ft. of wiring allows for a variety of solar panel placements. Normally $70. Amazon has the similar Sunforce 82156 60 LED Solar Motion Light for $40 with free shipping. Thanks, Evldude!
Yeah Evldude's looks better, though I find the 850 lumen rating dubious as always on non-major brand LED lighting.
On the other hand that one comes with 5, 900mAH NiMH batteries... where does one find mere 900mAH AA cells today? Seems like these may be very old cells that you might need to replace before long.
On the plus side then you can upgrade the capacity and runtime, and AA cells are a bit easier to source than the unknown form-factor of the featured product's " lithium polymer 7.4 Volt/1500mAh" battery, which may be 2 x 18650 or 18500 cells, or may not.
I know you guys don't like NiCd but 5 x sub-C NiCd would have been the best battery pack option, they withstand cold weather better than NiMH and have more recharge cycles than NiMH or Li-Ion.
Ddiscontinued model and pricey.
And one very negative review.
This one is cheaper and has much better reviews.
