Check ewiz (https://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=XFX-487G1B) using coupon FIREWORKS15 (expire today), still cheaper even with no free shipping.
True #1 it is cheaper, but they do take an e-wiz on each package before it ships out.
I know my next ATI card will be one sold by XFX. Theirs come with a lifetime warranty, unlike most other ATI brands that only have a 1 year warranty.
Thanks #1
well I have been through 3 xfx cards, I just do not care for the wait time for getting the cards back in from them.
I had these cards for a short time. Bought 2 of them to crossfire. They were good, but not great. Crossfire drivers are shady, and much inferior to SLI drivers. I wanted to love these cards, but between my problems with Crossfire and how hot and loud these cards were I ended up returning them and getting 2 GTX 280's for SLI.
But as #3 said, if you do buy an ATI card, it should be from XFX.
Tigerdirect has this card for 149.99 +1.99S&H - 10.2% (Cb Bing) and no tax in CA makes for a sweeter deal. Same card, same warranty, but just a bit sweeter for CA.

to get the 10.2% CB, search "LCD" on bing
I recommend against buying from XFX. Over the last four years, I've purchased four video cards from them. One of the older cards, a 6800GS, has been having an issue where, if the computer is turned on with the VGA cable connected, there is a ~90% chance that there will be screen corruption. If the system is booted with the VGA cable disconnected, there will be no corruption and everything runs properly.
I called XFX to try to get the card serviced as it, like most of their video cards, supposedly has a double lifetime warranty. Double lifetime means that the card has a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser and for the first person that the original purchaser sells the card to.
XFX asked me for proof of purchase, which I didn't have since the card was purchased several years ago. I asked if that was needed since the card had a lifetime warranty. I was told that it did. I forged a receipt and they called me out on it, stating that since I had not registered the card within 30 days of purchasing it, it only had a one year warranty on it, and that it had expired.
I told XFX that I was a loyal customer and asked them if they would be willing to make an exception for me. I also asked them if they'd be willing to let me register my 8800GTS and GTX 260+ so I could have the warranty on them. I also pointed out that reputable manufacturers of other computer hardware with lifetime warranties, such as memory, would replace defective hardware without requiring a proof of purchase. They adamantly declined my requests.
I waited a few days, after posting about these issues on several forums, and contacted them again. I informed them that I was spreading the word about their decision to not honor the warranty and asked them if they wished to reconsider as my negative feedback is probably costing them sales. The tech said that XFX was going to stick by its warranty policy. I asked for a supervisor to confirm that and now, after 9 days, still haven't gotten a response.
CLIFFS NOTES:
--XFX video cards supposedly have double lifetime warranty.
--XFX denies warranty if cards are not registered within 30 days.
--If you purchase an XFX product and need warranty support, expect them to try to weasel out of honoring the warranty.
Yes, I plan to spam this in every XFX "deal" posted on BB. I am thoroughly disgusted with XFX and am strongly considering selling all of my XFX hardware at a loss so I can replace it with equipment from a more reputable company.
You're fault for not reading.
Thanks for the advice, #10. Maybe I should take some reading lessons from whoever taught you English.
