I'd of thought more review sites would have latched on to testing the new ATI manufacturer and had direct comparisons to the XFX GTX 260 Core-216.

Here's a review with a couple of titles (3) at every res' and settings you could think, but is lacking in a lot of areas.

This has the XFX vs a reference 4870 1Gb, but they don't say which. This isn't worth much.

But, you can't go wrong with an XFX.

Trying to say there's a reason for a GTX260 over a 4870 is just plain stupid. The two are so close overall in performance as are the 4890's, that telling people one is better or worse just shows bias.

Both of them perform great, and its good to know that good cards aren't crazy expensive anymore.

I'm not seeing I said there's any true advantage in choosing one or the other, did I?
I'm just saying that there will be titles, resolutions, and settings that have them trade blows with aplomb. I just consider matching the two XFX's to just be a great story... if for no other reason.

And, your right if was getting one or the other; my “wallet bias” would favor adding $30 and getting 4890 and have a card that would provide a much more robust, in terms of the power section and ability to OC past a GTX275 that's still $250. If I was “bias limited” to $153 I'd go with a Core-216.

And, it is good to know that if ATI "wasn't" doing it right… a Core-216 would be crazy expensive like it once was, and the 275 would still be a engineer sample at Nvidia.

Im glad you pointed that all out for us you pathetic douche nozzle. Like anyone cares what burp card you like. You are always saying the same overly self indulgent baconnaise every time and its really boring dingle berry breath. The only comparisons you should be making are to the size of you and your brother compfiss's troll turd gardens you plant everyday. Have a nice day at your baconnaise cart waiting for customers girls.
