Yea I find it quite surprising that EA appears to have made BF3 a title that even good mainstream cards can't provide acceptable gamplay, while even pushing entry enthusiast offering to render the gaming with detail.

I almost think they EA hurt themselves with this release (at this point). I mean buy a disc for $60 and invest in a $200-250 card now, when in a few months you will have new cards. IdK? As spartan805 pointed out this will probably just keep the 6950 and GTX560ti pricing strong right up till when those next generation offering show. It's nice to see a game that triggers hardware to advance, but is it written and developed (aka Crysis EA) as a title that takes 2-3 generations of hardware to finally find mainstream appeal. I suppose they did it with Crysis and they (EA) were accepting with the return on sales over the long term to try it again.

Be wary of this free Dirt3 promo. I just bought the 6770 version with the free D3 offer. I put in the unique coupon code like it said and then it came back with another screen saying "Sorry we need a scanned copy of your coupon voucher to complete this transaction." I scanned the coupon and e-mailed it to them. 4 days later, nothing yet.
