These rank high in all tests. Looks good and runs really quiet.
Go read the ranking if you have doubts. Nice combination of performance and style.

You get what you pay for. I've used such hsfs in places that needed particularly good low temps, and they do the job, cool and quiet. But you better make damn well sure that it will actually fit the mobo/case you intend to put it in.

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 is half the price and performs within 95% of this Zalman, both in heat transfer and noise level.

I tried the Artic Freezer 64 and it worked great on the single core, but did not work so well with Dual Core. I could never get it to fit perfectly centered, so the differential core temp would be as much as 7-9C. Switched to this unit and differential dropped to 2-4C.

You shouldnt have problems as install these in mid tower cases. As this model CNPS9500 is smaller compared to the CNPS9700. The 9500 model use 90mm fan while the 9700 model use a 110mm fan. I have this and it works very well, dropping temp to around 40s and would not exceed 50s even on full load and OC.

For the extra $20 you will get a small single-digit temp drop compared to other 'sinks. It is only significant if you are heavily overclocking since this grade of 'sink is not necessary to lower noise or retain sufficiently low temps in stock speed or more moderate o'c scenarios.
