As always, it's in your best interest to read all the reviews on the item before you purchase it. Be aware this is a rather large unit, however if your setup can accomidate it, it will give you both good value and superior preformance vs your stock heatsink/fan combo.

For a 120 unit the price is quite good. Who knows how long that rebate will be though.

Would've been a good AR price, especially if you were thinking of buying something else from 'egg so the shipping was a smaller cost/item, but as #1 double ben backoned, this rebate is through the bankrupt rebate house.

    HARD FACTS:
    1) These heatpipe based coolers perform quite well compared to stock coolers at any standpoint.
    2) The cooling efficiency is directly proportional to the number of heatpipes and the size of the fins. It is in no way related to the brandname.

#1, #4: newegg always backs up the rebates on products that they sell. So, if the rebate house does end up not paying out rebates, just give newegg support a call. Also, I would think that all of the companies offering these rebates would not want their brand name tarnished by mass rebate refusals. Many of the companies that are said to be affected by this have already said that they will cover any denied rebates.

I'm somewhat willing to risk the rebate because I trust newegg.

Thank you, #6 True and correct.. Newegg take care of there customers. That's why they are 2nd to none.. when it comes to electronics. Newegg already send me a letter not to cash my check, saying it will bounce, rather send it back to Newegg and they will issue me another check.. I like the price of this fan, But I own the Rosewill Z3 is allsome, especially the cool 4 blue light, light up my whole clear case, althought I have 6 different color of UV light with sound actavited and UV cable hook-up to it, overclock my AMD2 BE-2400 to 3.0mhz. The fan speed on max 32c to 35c never got over 36c and stable, good fan, This looks good also, price wise, no knob fan speed ajustment thou, with the 4pin you can set it to cool and quiet in BIOS ajustment..

Yes, Newegg does back up rebates, but knowing the rebate house in question has just declared bankruptcy and still trying to get a rebate on the product is like stabbing yourself in the eye because you know there is a band-aid in your other hand.

Price after rebate is good, but the shipping kills the deal.

I've never had any problems with newegg, they have always been great at customer service, for rebates and returns and everything. I've gotten rebates from Zero before and they were fine, and I've been very happy with their products. $14 sounds good, but I am still using the previous one I bought from newegg/ZEROTherm
