WTF? How is this a deal?
Opie and Anthony were talking about this movie today. It sounded to me like they didn't think it was very good.
How is it VS this --- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0365748/
"Shaun of the Dead (2004)"...

Shaun of the Dead is profoundly English, and Zombieland is very American. Shaun of the Dead is the better film IMHO, but Zombieland is a fun flick and absolutely worth a watch. I'm not sure it's worth getting on Blu-ray, or why $23 is a deal.
zombieland had left me slightly disappointed today, but perhaps it was cuz i had such high hopes. i frickin love zombie flicks and the remake of 'dawn of the dead' with ving rhames and mehki phifer is still up there for me (the original is a classic!). this one wasn't totally bad, just not as good as i had hoped. it had so much potential...
I wasn't expecting the movie to be good, but it was pretty awesome.
i paid nothing to watch this and i still want my money back!
Woody's best work
It is a good fun renter. I didn't go in with super high expectations with the name of the movie.
"shaun of the dead" was really good, i see it on cable a lot now
Really fun movie but not at this price.
It is time to nut up or shut up, guys.
This movie wasn't nearly as good as it could have been. They obviously scrimped on the budget..bacon was blatantly obvious that they wrote the script for Michael Cera but could only afford Jesse Eisenberg.
Side note: career-ending move for Jesse Eisenberg, doing two movies in one year with titles ending in "-land". Yeah, that's a career to be proud of. What's his next project? "JumpedTheSharkLand"?
That Ving Rames movie was boring. The shopping mall setup was good, but that was it. Now I would call that low budget.
Make a LFD2 movie.
Shaun of the dead is much funnier, IMO. I just finished watching Zombieland last night. It IS a good movie, but I wouldnt pay more than 10 bucks for it on blu-ray though.
I like killing zombies.
