Any comparisons of this to the D-Link DBT-120? The DBT-120 doesn't pair with the Plantronics Voyager 510 headset that I would like to use with Skype.
does it work
#2: no, it's actually just a picture of a real circuit board stuck inside of a see-through plastic case, to make you think that it really works.
$15 rebate? Doesn't worth the risk.
I have a different bluetooth dongle that my voyager 510 won't pair with too. Maybe you need a particular version or somesuch.
No reviews for this on Amazon or Newegg. There is one review at tigerdirect that notes a serious limitation with the included software. Check it first before getting this.
Cheapest one I can get is about $10 on newegg. It supports the Widcomm driver. I strongly suggest using the chip that runs on WIDCOMM.
This is a great price for a bluetooth adapter. I've got the Toshiba wireless bluetooth headphones and the quality is superb.
kinda with desktops these days have built-in bluetooth... so I can free up a USB port
Is USB 1.1 speed fast enough for the bluetooth transfer speeds, or is it a bottleneck?
Good price for bluetooth. Fast enough for my needs
Might make a good Christmas gift.
do your home work before buying this. I bought a similar one and it disabled most of my devices. After uninstalled driver the pc came back alive.
why are most bluetooth dongles still incompatible with vista? =/
#14: because Vista is a terrible OS. I'd recommend sticking with XP for now. As far as the numbers go, Vista is being used by a very small percentage of people.
not worth the risk
It is cheap. I don't know how to get the rebate.
