Newegg has the ZOTAC ZT-50401-10L GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card for $130 - $20 off with coupon code EMCYTZT1440 [Exp 4/12] - $30 rebate [Exp 4/30] = $80 with free shipping. Features 900MHz core clock, one HMDI, one DisplayPort, and two DVI outputs.
Do not trust these jerks for a rebate! I followd their requirements to a "T" and they denied it! They give you no alternative to fight their resposnse either! Do not do business with them.
I'm not going to argue/disagree with #1 (and I'm growing tired of rebates, too) but my last experience with Zotac:
- bought a midrange card from them last November - submitted $30 rebate - couldn't register the card for almost 2 weeks (website was "down") - submitted a support request in December, immediately heard back from "Brian" - Brian was very polite, professional, said there was a huge backlog - emailed again in January (+8 weeks), same response from Brian - emailed again February, Brian processed/sent the rebate check
The guy I dealt with was pleasant the whole way through, and said, "If you have copies of everything you're fine." It was a PITA to keep emailing them -- almost broke my will -- but I'm a cheap bastard so there was no way they weren't giving me my money.
I was just about to get this but if I have to beg for my rebate..., I think, I'll wait for next deal. It is bad enough to go through rebate process, not going to beg for my own money.
I bought this card a couple monthes ago and couldn't be happier with it. I got my rebate in about 6 weeks with no issues. This card runs all the most demanding games I throw at it on high or ultra settings with no noticable lag or issues on a 24" monitor. I would not hesitate to buy this card again, even if I didn't get the rebate I would still feel I got a good deal considering the experience I have had.
Must not be very "demanding" games #6, unless you aren"t gaming at 1080p or you don't notice lag. This is a solid mid level card, but it certainly won't get you to ultra/high settings on modern graphics intensive games.
It's a good final price and a great Bfb buck, if you get the rebate.
I was thinking SLI for $160, but I don't think that's allowed the rebate says "two physically bridged SLI-capable cards" which I guess would mean a GTX590 which they have?
"Limit to ONE rebate check per Purchase/Person/Household/Address, unless two physically bridged SLI-capable cards are purchased on the same invoice, in which case both submissions will be honored."
I have submitted and received 2 rebates from Zotac. First was on a mini ITX board, and required a "where's my rebate?" email to them, which was answered within the hour, and I received the rebate check in the mail 3 days later. The second rebate, on a video card, was submitted in early March and I received the rebate check in less than 10 days.

Hard to find SLI reference clock B-M, but this shows what I believe are reference and that gets you sometimes between GTX560Ti and GTX570, so a little OC'n and you get great BfB at $160!

These SLI results are with a Zotac 550 Ti AMP and MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II.
