Not sure why Ben didn't post the speed of the switch either in the headline or the description but, in case you were wondering, this is a gigabit switch. It's fanless, and has decent reviews on Newegg and and great reviews on Amazon.
Great price then, I recall when the 4 or 5 port GbE switches were $80... think the first one I bought was a deal on Ben's for $50.
Fanless isn't always good, that usually means it's going to die prematurely of capacitor failure though that usually takes about 5 years. In other words, I'd cut a hole and add a fan for something this size.
^ I suppose that's possible but pretty uncommon on budget priced switches, even those without fans which is most of them these days. You usually have to step up to a 3Com or Cisco, etc to get polymer or chip caps instead of at least a few electrolytics, especially the bulk storage cap situated right after the power jack.
