you will get no more than 15Mb/s of trasfer rate off this thing, while i can do more than 70mb/s between 2 computers under the same LAN, had to give it up and returned it. It is limited by the controller.
^ AFAIK, all of the inexpensive (sub-$140 on sale?) NAS are still dreadfully slow compared to GbE's potential. You're better off putting a nettop board in a miniATX case and adding your own choice of OS, though that may use a high %, yet still small amount more power.
