THese are pretty good except
you will only get 100 MBit through put
The ethernet port on there does show as connecting at 1Gbit
500Mbit I never achieved (maybe if I put them in same power strip)
However these work way better than Wireless N in my house - and I put in 2 routers on each side of house to ensure I had a good signal - but these work way better on my desktops and HTPC's
I have this and it's good as the 500 mbps one, for me in my setup, so take it for what it is. Like atari800 I find powerline ethernet a 100 times better than wireless.
