These are worthless. There is a magnet that slides back & forth to charge the battery when you shake it. Most the energy is lost when the magnet hit the end & has to reverse directions.

Still to high for a refurbished netbook since new ones are under $300. Under $200 might be a deal.

Only for low powered devices like phone chargers.
Don't try to plug in your car vacuum or air compressor!

FYI: This converts DVI-I to VGA, it will NOT convert DVI-D to VGA.

DVI-I includes the analog VGA signals on the connector, where as DVI-D only has the digital connectors.

Actually a good deal compared to a netbook, if you don't need the battery life or lite weight portability.
