| Ben, is there anyway to get around using links which go through adclick or doublclick.net? When using those throughputs, our IT guys have blocked access to using those redirects. |

Hi. Ask your IT guys not to block them, there is no reason for them to block legit affiliate sites and in fact if they try to block ALL such sites they will break half the websites on the internet, so they are essentially applying arbitrary rules to only some of them.
If your company is large enough that it might seem worth their time, sometimes you can contact the 'site that is being blocked and have THEM contact your IT department and work through ways to put their sites on a whitelist so they aren't blocked.
Is it possible they do this intentionally to try to prevent employees from using work time for shopping? If so, it's best to just follow their policies and not shop at work.
However, you might try using a proxy... just be sure to use one you trust if you will be transmitting personal data such as payment information when making a purchase.
Another alternative if a link won't work is to manually go to the website mentioned and do a product search. |
