Recently had a nasty pobaconp storm that was the final straw for an old oak of my neighbors, put it right through his roof. Thankfully, no one got hurt, but it did get me to thinking about looking into an emergency weather radio since this storm came out of nowhere.

Any suggestions out there for a decient one?

Make sure you get something set up to create alerts, not just a weather band radio which may not. There are fancier ones out there with a crank generator, flashlight, phone charger built in... all for higher price of course.
