A friend of mind is an occasional gamer and wants to purchase a PCI-E graphic card for around $50, and does not want to fiddle with rebates at all. Putting aside any feelings about whether or not it's worth spending $50 on a gaming card, what do you all think would be the best bang for the buck? Remember -- no rebates. My pick is newegg's 8600GTS for a bit over $50 shipped. It's a reasonable lower end card with a life time warranty, but is there a better deal I'm not aware of?
