I got one of these a while back, when had digital camera that used AA batteries.
This does an excellent job of charging NiMH. Problem that I have with NiMH is that they "leak" charge when not being used.
It's a bummer to need to use a battery, and it's dead because it's been sitting for a couple of weeks.
Having better luck with specific item LiIon with chargers for stuff like the Wii. |

If you're really serious about making a long term investment of rechargeable batteries:
Best prices for best low self discharge batteries (AccuEvolution) if you buy the starter kit which has 8 AAA + 4 AAs + 2 Cs + 2 Ds + one 9v.

| There are newer NiMH batteries such as POWEREX MH-4AAI-BH 2100mAh IMEDION that still have 85% charge left after sitting for a year. |

| costco has the eneloops for $20, charger, 8AA, 2AAA, 4C adapters and 4D adapters until 11/10. much better bargain than this |

| from what i hear, powerex/maha chargers are very good but the LaCrosse is a better deal. |
