I'm thinking of buying a Sony - Cyber-shot 7.2MP Digital Camera and am wondering if anyone has experience with it or if they would recommend some other digital camera

I don't know if this helps, I have never tried it myself but a buddy I work with is big into photography and he bought that camera and loved it, I have seen some of the pictures and they have great contrast and are ridiculously sharp. As far as ease of use I don't really know...

Hi all
I just purchased this as a replacement from my Sony P-100 5 mega pixel camera. WOW! This camera is definitely a sleek improvement from past models.
Aside from the 7.2 megapixel count, this camera excels in almost every conceivable area relevant to compacts.

My 2c
I have a sony cybershot 10MP and its killer... however they dont tell you that stuck or deap pixels are common
AND worst of all NOT covered in warranty... bastards.. i would go with a camera with better exposure settings also knows as ISO settings reall ISO not "simulated"
its no longer about the MP but the ISO, cybershot i give 4/5 poor indoors with dim environments...GREAT macro though!!!

I have a friend who has one and loves it. She keeps it set to the highest resolution when taking pictures and they turn out great.
